2024 Interprovincials

Welcome to the 2024 Interprovincial Campaign. The East Coast Rowing Association is gearing up for a strong representation at the Associations Regatta this September at Lake Karapiro. We are keen to assemble a competitive team and are inviting East Coast athletes to express their interest and consider trialling.

Please look at the proposed programme dates below. If you are interested and can commit to participating, please email your phone number, a selfie, and your most recent 2k and 20-minute erg results to roweastcoast@gmail.com (the ergs are not essential if your most recent is over two months old).

Programme

• Register your interest by April 19 to roweastcoast@gmail.com

• Home club training.
• This is a required component.
• A Minimum of two 90-minute sessions either on the erg or on water each week.
• Erg at drag factor 130
• Your coach will discuss suitable routines.

• May 12^th Long Distance Karapiro

• June 2nd Long Distance Karapiro

• June 8^th 9^th Camp at Gisborne or Wairoa.

• July 7^th Long distance Karapiro

• July 27^th 28^th Camp at either Mangakino or Karapiro. (Squad selection confirmed)

• August 4th Long distance Karapiro

• August 31^st Sept 1^st Warmup Regatta Turangi or Whanganui TBC

• September 28^th 29^th at Karapiro Provincial Regatta
